For “Seeing Through Plexiglass,” Dan took some public domain footage from the Prelinger Archive, slowed it down, and then overdubbed some audio of himself playing guitar and singing. I find it haunting, like this woman is looking for something, or someone—a ghost—and can’t find it.
When he sent this video to me, I told him that he should do other videos like this, and then play a live show where he could project the videos and then play along, live.
